Nile's lead compound, CD-NP, is a novel rationally designed chimeric natriuretic peptide in clinical studies for an initial indication of acute decompensated heart failure. Nile is also developing CU-NP, a second, novel rationally designed chimeric natriuretic peptide, and 2NTX-99, a small molecule with anti-atherothrombotic and nitric oxide donating properties, both of which are in pre-clinical development.
